Located just 30 minutes west of Atherton, within the heart of Mbabaram Country, is our exclusive multi-use campground and activity area, the Watsonville Culture Park!

Our Mid-day Experience commences at 10am with a 40-minute guided bushwalk on a natural bush trail to learn about the wide variety of bush foods and medicines as well the areas rich mining history and its impacts on the Mbabaram people. On this walk you will also learn about the trees and plants used by Mbabaram people in making tools and weapons.

Upon returning from our walk, we will then show you how to create Aboriginal dot art and explain the stories behind our artwork and how we use art as a communication tool. You will also get to keep your painting after the tour.

After our painting workshop we will head over to our traditional weapons range to learn about hunting techniques and the methods used by our ancestors and how to throw a spear.

Finally, we will stop for a hot lunch prepared on the campfire and our guide will explain the techniques of playing the didgeridoo.
